Hetman O. Formation of Coloristic Competence in Future Design Specialists During Professional Training

The dissertation is devoted to the development of coloristic competence in future designers during their professional training. The work justifies the importance of the topic, defines the aim, objectives, object, and subject of the research, as well as the methods that validate the effectiveness of the pedagogical conditions for forming this competence. For the first time, the theoretical justification and experimental confirmation of the significance of the system of knowledge and skills in color theory for the successful work of designers have been presented. The essence and components of coloristic competence are revealed, and criteria and levels of its formation are defined. The dissertation analyzes scientific literature on the fundamentals of color, its perception, use in design, as well as interdisciplinary connections that influence the formation of coloristic competence. It is proven that this competence is key for future designers and includes not only theoretical knowledge but also the ability to creatively apply color. Pedagogical conditions for the formation of coloristic competence involve the integration of innovative technologies in color science education, the creation of a supportive learning environment, and the development of creative motivation. The level of competence formation is evaluated through diagnostic criteria such as motivational-value, cognitive-activity, innovative-creative, and emotional-associative. The practical significance of the work lies in the development of methodological materials for training future designers, including manuals and workshops that can be used in higher education institutions and in self-education systems.
