In the dissertation, the problem of training of future educators for the formation of natural and research skills of older preschool children by means of information and communication technologies in the theory of scientific discourse within Ukraine and abroad is revealed. The main theoretical and methodological foundations of the researched problem were analyzed, systematized and summarized, the organizational and content model and pedagogical conditions for increasing the level of readiness of future educator for the formation of natural and research skills of older preschool children by means of information and communication technologies were represented and substantiated, and their effectiveness was experimentally verified. The study of the process of training of future teachers for the formation of natural and research skills in children of older preschool age by means of information and communication technologies was carried out during three stages: ascertaining, formative and control. At the ascertainment stage of the experiment, using diagnostic methods (survey, observation, performance of a creative essay, project, creation of an electronic portfolio), the initial level of readiness of future educators for the formation of natural and research skills of older preschool children by means of information and communication technologies was determined. At the formative stage of the pedagogical experiment in higher educational institutions, where the students of the experimental group studied, 16 an organizational and content model for training of future educators for the formation of natural and research skills of older preschool children by means of information and communication technologies and the implementation of the identified pedagogical conditions during professional training was proposed. In order to increase the level of readiness of future educators for the formation of natural and research skills of older preschool children by means of information and communication technologies, a number of pedagogical measures were implemented: an information and education space «Virtual space of natural and research laboratory for future educators» was created; developed and implemented the study of separate topics in the cross-section of educational disciplines, which contribute to students’ information awareness of the problem of research, the formation of theoretical knowledge, practical skills and experience in organizing various types of cognitive activities of preschoolers, aimed at the formation of natural and research skills of older preschool children by means of information and communication technologies; the priority areas of intensification of higher education with modern learning technologies, in particular interactive learning technologies for future educators, are represented. At the control stage of the study, an experimental verification of the effectiveness of the organizational and content model of training future educators for the formation of natural and research skills of older preschool children by means of information and communication technologies and pedagogical conditions for its implementation was carried out. The analysis of the results of the formative stage of the experiment is carried out according to the same diagnostic tools as the ascertaining stage of the research. According to the results of the control stage of the experiment, the effectiveness of the author’s organizational and content model of developing the readiness of the future educator for the formation of natural and research skills in older preschool children by means of information and communication technologies and in defined pedagogical conditions was confirmed. 17 The conducted research does not cover all aspects of the analyzed problem. We see the prospects for further scientific research in training of future educators for the organization of certain types of research and cognitive activities of preschool children, able to form the natural and research skills of older preschool children by means of information and communication technologies; search for new means of information and communication technologies, effective for implementation in the educational process of higher educational institutions; studies of theoretical and methodological aspects of the organization of extracurricular work of future educators (research groups, scientific societies, problem groups, educational and methodological studies), which is aimed at their training for the formation of natural and research skills of older preschool children by means of information and communication technologies.
