Essay

The thesis is a multifaceted research of the national specificity of the Ukrainian singing folklore. It traces out the genesis of ethno-esthetic ideas and criteria that have evolved through the interaction of geographical-climatic, historical-sociological and ethnopsychological factors. It has been ascertained the main dominating notional element of ethnoesthetics of folk singing and national expression of the Ukrainian folk song language.
