Object: scientific communication. Aim: definition of scientific communication specifics and it's factors in terms of contemporary Ukrainian society. Research methods: comparative analysis and synthesis, logical generalization, typologization, abstraction, interdisciplinary approach. Theoretical and practical results: the complex sociological analysis of scientific communication social phenomena in Ukraine is carried out; science-based conceptualizations of scientific communication optimization possibilities are brought. Novelty: development of conceptual grounds for sociological research of the scientific communication, investigation of specifics, tendencies of development and factors of scientific communication. Degree of application: the dissertation results are used in developing and transaction of educational courses on sociology of science, sociology of communication, sociology of informational society, sociology of education.
